This project at RAF Aluminium involved creating a modern aluminium door that combines strength, security, and style. Designed for durability and low maintenance, the door was carefully planned, fabricated, and installed to meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.

Design & Planning Phase

  • Site Survey: Measurements of the door opening (width, height, wall thickness).

  • Design Selection: Choice between hinged, sliding, or folding aluminium door.

  • Finish Options: Powder-coated RAL colors, anodized finish, or wood-effect aluminium.

  • Glass Selection (if glazed):

    • Single / double / triple glazing

    • Tempered or laminated safety glass

    • Optional Low-E or tinted coatings

Material Specification

  • Aluminium Profiles: High-grade extruded aluminium (6063-T5).

  • Thermal Break: Polyamide strips for insulation (if required).

  • Hardware: Hinges, handles, multi-point lock system, rollers (for sliding doors).

  • Sealants & Gaskets: EPDM rubber seals for airtight and watertight performance.
